Investing in the Advancement of Women
The Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County seeks to aid and enrich the lives of women and girls so they ultimately become thriving residents of their communities. Established in 2004, the Women and Girls Fund (WGF) is a permanent endowment within the Waukesha County Community Foundation.
Each year, the WGF awards grants to local nonprofit agencies to support projects and programs that promote the welfare, independence and self-sufficiency of women and girls of all ages. Areas of interest include leadership, education, job training, housing assistance, transportation, overcoming substance abuse, mental health restoration, financial literacy, physical health and safety, and strengthening families.
The Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County (WGF) seeks to aid and enrich the lives of women and girls in our community by providing financial grants that enable opportunities otherwise unavailable to them.
The Women and Girls Fund knows the organizations that are achieving the greatest outcomes. Proudly awarding a total of nearly $800,000 in grants, we are committed to stewardship and sustainability. Collectively, we are building a legacy.
